The lab will study the economic implications of AI and investigate how AI can improve prosperity and help individuals achieve more in their lives. 2.1 AI Algorithms A major goal of the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab is to create advanced algorithms that expand the capabilities of systems that learn from and reason about data. We seek to design AI algorithms that overcome the limitations of today’s machine learning algorithms, enabling AI to tackle a wide range of complex tasks.
