Visa or Mastercard? Hi everyone! I'm a 23 yr old that's fairly new to investing and am in the midst of building my portfolio, but having difficulty making a decision. Looking at the all-time data for V & MA, neither particularly falter at any point, which in conjunction with reading the risks Thats not a good headline for Visa and MA, but honestly this is just a pullback on what I believe will be continued strength.

Not sure about in the US but most other places the cards that power the new digital banks like Monzo, Revolut, Starling are all MasterCard. In the last few years most of the younger generation have gone from taking out traditional back accounts with Visa cards to digital banks with MasterCard. Visa and mastercard are NEEDED by these guys or people wont' use the payment app. Its mutually beneficial for both apple/google to team up with master+visa.
